Simple days

Sometimes I think my life is boring. That maybe all I do is watch movies, do dishes, boring things like that.

But there's nothing wrong with that! I get to spend all day with my beautiful little boy, get a little time with Derek, make a delicious dinner and enjoy it with the 2 of them.

Point is, I love my life. I get to watch my boy develop and grow, although right now he's a bit sick with a hoarse voice and a sore throat. But he still gives me cute little laughs, like this:

Top 10

Derek and I were talking about our top 10 albums the other day. We agreed on a few. Here's them:

I'm not 100% about those last 4, but they're the albums I can think of that I know I hardly get sick of.

We are both sick! Jonah started out with a runny nose, and transferred it to me! The only thing is, he feels fine and only has the runny nose! Perhaps he's teething, I don't know. But today, I've decided to start solids, so I went out and bought some spoons and rice cereal and some baby food. Can you freeze it? I think it would be ok, but I just wanna be safe

I know it's been forever since I've posted anything, and I apologize, but I've been very, very busy. My mom came into town, there have been 2 family reunions, my b-day, which is also the 4th of July. Jonah gets bigger everyday, smarter, stronger, he's my little sweetheart! Derek is exhausted all the time from working graveyard, but he tries to entertain me and keep me company when he's awake.

Consistency? What's that?

I thought I was starting to get Jonah on a schedule, but of course with my laziness, I messed it all up! The last 2 days we've gotten up around 9-10 AM and that throws everything else in the day off. I know he's still very small, but I want some consistency in his life. And nap times are always pretty horrendous because he only sleeps very short periods of time and then he's angry! Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
