Things are right
I'm so happy with life. I have a good life, good friends, a great husband, great family and only 5 weeks left of this pregnancy. I could go at any time and he would be fine and everything would be alright. I love my life!!

Childbirth kinda scares me
At my childbirth class last night, we watched a few live births on video from 1979 and it showed everything. I knew it would be intense and different than anything, but I'd never had a visual in my mind until last night. Hollywood's never right, so I wasn't taking Knocked Up at face value. It was fascinating and a little scary. I had dreams about it last night. I was having contractions and I was pushing, just trying to get this baby out. And I woke up and really had to pee. So it's a good thing I didn't keep pushing, I probably would have peed the bed. That would have been embarassing

Collect the moments one by one
So, as stressed as I was for my family to all come into town at once, it turned out amazing! I love them so much and am so glad I was able to see them BEFORE this baby popped. Baby got plenty of attention and lots of squealing in his ears. And plenty of pressure from Aunt Beka. I swear she was trying to push that baby out so she could see it this trip! Just kidding, Beka :)
Friday, my parents stayed over and we just spent time together and went to dinner at Warren's, Derek's favorite. Thanks mom and dad! And the next morning I made yummy breakfast and then pretty much spent the rest of the day cooking a large turkey dinner. On your feet all day makes your pregnant feet double in size, pretty much. They watched the Ravens in the playoffs while I was doing that and they won! Go Ravens!!!
Later that night, Beka and her boy Nathan, who is a total hilarious sweetheart, and Joe and Tanya came over and played with our melodica's, danced OKGo, and ate fabulous turkey, if I do say so myself. It was very moist and delicious and I am very proud for the first time doing it. I will perfect it eventually.
Really, I am so grateful for my family. I haven't seen most of them since July/August-ish and I really needed it. I missed them intensly through the holidays and as chaotic as things get with them around sometimes, it's ok for things to be spontaneous and not go exactly according to plan. Although sometimes I have a hard time accepting that :) Just ask Derek.
I love you Mommy, Daddy, Beka, Joe, Nathan, and Liz, Rod, Zach, Marinda, Michael, Matthew, Paul, Dave, Mish, Micah, Haley, Jake, Abby, Branda, Kayla, Sara, Jason, Jalen, Guy Chris, and baby Seth!!!

I've lost all faith and trust in people
Last night outside Albertsons (first and last time ever going there) at the redbox, my wallet was stolen. Now I have to go through the whole process of cancelling all my cards, putting a stop payment on my paycheck, renewing my license and all that other crap that's involved. A big, fat pain in my butt. But atleast it gives me an excuse to get a new wallet, right?
