No shots, more candy

Today was Jonah's 2 month appointment and it may be the hardest thing to see your baby in pain, but for his own good in the long run. So right now he's a sad, sore, sleepy baby. But the good news is he's at the 75th percentile for weight and height. 12 lbs 7 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. Hopefully he doesn't get sick. That's what these vaccinations are for, right?

Jonah is now starting to talk for us a little bit, which I love because I've always wanted a vocal baby. Makes me happy. And giving him tummy time lately, the weight of his head is a little too much for his neck still, so he just lets the momentum take him and he rolls right over :) It's so fun!

And on May 15th we're getting some photo's taken, so I am really excited for that. Except I'm not sure what to dress him in. I have a few cute outfits, but donations are always accepted :) Just kidding

Ok, so I know you can't do both at the same time, but that was our friday night. We had so much fun hanging out with Taylor and Janae/Jordan and Jenna at Derek's mission reunion. And it's always really fun to see Derek's boy/camp friends that we haven't seen in forever at the man-chin.

Update

More pictures. That's really all it is. I just cannot believe how much bigger he has gotten is such a short time. Only a few weeks. I knew I would love motherhood and being home with him all the time, but I didn't know it would be so much fun! Although sometimes I get a bit grumpy and stir-crazy. And on those days we run errands, because right now the weather is definitely not nice enough to take walks, because there is no sunshine! Oh well. Hopefully soon enough. I woke up this morning and saw that Mother Nature's April Fools joke was to snow. In April! Danged it all. It lessened my desire to think of some fun prank to pull on Derek. That and I really suck at thinking up those kinds of things.

Taken 3/31/09 just because

This is from quite awhile ago, but Savannah came and visited really soon after Jonah was born with her adorable little boy, Reese, who is a monster compared to Jonah! We really enjoyed her visit and need to do it again soon!

My sister, Sara, came with her cute boys for my other sister's wedding, Beka. Her youngest, Seth, was born just 2 days shy of a month before Jonah, so we had to take a comparison picture. And I like how Jonah looks like a banana in his yellow sleeper :)
