Food, food, food...

So, I've been going all out with food lately. I've been buying tons of produce and trying tons of new recipes. Last night's menu, Mushroom Quesadillas. Oh deliciousness! I didn't really follow the recipe completely, just kinda winged it. I diced the mushrooms, but next time I'll slice them. For that recipe, go here.

The night before that we made Yaki Soba. We just bought one
of those packs at the Oriental Market, added diced onions, mushrooms, sliced carrots, and pork. Although the pork was a little much, next time no meat. There's no recipe for that,
but if you want to try it, go to the Oriental Market
and buy the package.

I tried Sweet N' Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Cream Cheese Wontons, so many yummy delicious things! The recipes for those are here, here, and here.

Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia with homemade Mac N Cheese and Salad. The recipe for that is here.

Next on the menu is Black Bean Burgers and Oven Baked French Fries. I'll let you know how it goes.

Sweet surrender...is what's currently playing

Why do I see what my friends are doing and get jealous? Why do I sometimes I feel like I am unfulfilled with life. I'm sure that's like a punch in the face to my Heavenly Father. I have a beautiful little boy, an amazing husband, I'm that much closer to celestial glory and eternity, but I'm wishing for the insignificant, silly things. I get nostalgic for high school too much. For the simple life. All in all, I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life. I get to witness miracles everyday, so why do I feel like my life's not enough? I hope I'm not the only person who feels like this now and again. Is there more that I need to be doing to feel better, more content? I feel lonely. I need a life, sociability.

How could I possibly be sad when I have this?

He must have gotten something
good to show a face like that!

They gave me some painted, wooden fish. Very cool!

They're both very happy to have this book.

Disregard

Please disregard the last post. I don't think America sucks. I was just frustrated with things that are going on. So, don't think I'm un-American or un-Patriotic. So, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
